1. Who we are

Ready Berry ("Ready Berry," "we," "us," or "our") is a mobile application that helps people discover local farms, farm stands, U-pick, seasonal produce, and community produce pop-ups. 2. Information we collect

We collect the information needed to operate the app and the features you choose to use:

• Account information. When you create an account, we collect identifiers such as your email address and, where applicable, your phone number, along with basic profile information.
• Email and phone verification. To verify it is really you, we process one-time verification codes sent to your email or phone number.
• Location data. With your permission, we use your device location (or a location you enter) to show farms, stands, produce, and pop-ups near you. You can control location access in your device settings.
• Photos and user content. If you add photos, listings, reviews, suggestions, or other content, we collect and store that content so it can be displayed in the app.
• Farm submissions and suggestions. Information you submit about farms, farm stands, or updates — including claim requests and owner/team details — is collected to review and display listings.
• Community Pop-Ups. If you create a Community Pop-Up, we collect the listing details you provide (such as the produce, description, and general location) to review and display it.
• Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store a device push token so we can deliver alerts you have asked for.
• Analytics, logs, and device data. We collect app usage, diagnostics, crash logs, and device/technical information to keep Ready Berry reliable and to improve it.

3. How we use information

• To provide and operate the app — showing nearby farms, produce, stands, and pop-ups.
• To create and secure your account and verify your email or phone number.
• To review and publish farm submissions, farm stand suggestions, and Community Pop-Ups.
• To send notifications you have requested, such as farm updates from farms you follow.
• To understand usage, fix problems, prevent abuse, and improve features.
• To communicate with you about support requests and important service changes.

4. Service providers

We use trusted third-party services to run Ready Berry. These providers process information on our behalf, subject to their own terms and privacy policies:

• Firebase / Google Cloud — app backend, authentication, database, storage, and hosting.
• Google Maps / Google Places — maps, location search, and place information.
• Mapbox — mapping services, if used in your version of the app.
• Twilio Verify — phone number verification (one-time codes).
• SendGrid — transactional and verification email delivery.
• Expo push notifications — delivery of push notifications to your device.
• Stripe — payment processing, only if and when paid features (such as Farm Pro) are enabled. Payments are not currently enabled in the app.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Push notifications

If you opt in, we store a push token to send alerts such as farm updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings or within the app.

6. Payments

Paid features are not currently enabled. If paid features such as Farm Pro are offered in the future, payment processing would be handled by Stripe, and we would not store full payment card numbers. Additional payment terms and privacy details would be provided at that time.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the app. When you delete your account, we delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period [retention period to be confirmed], except where we must keep certain records for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or audit reasons.

8. Account deletion

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time — including from the web, without installing the app — using our Delete account page. See that page for exactly what is deleted and what may be retained.

9. Children's privacy

Ready Berry is not directed to children, and is not intended for use by children under the age required by your jurisdiction [minimum age to be confirmed]. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact [email protected] and we will take appropriate steps.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
